Bands I Useta Like II: Banned From School
It has come to this administration’s attention that there is now a second 32-page issue of “Bands I Useta Like” magazine. You may recall the trouble that resulted on campus after the first pile of this filth appeared. We do not want a repeat of that incident. Ergo;
“Bands I Useta Like” magazine is hereby banned from the campus. All copies found will be confiscated and destroyed. Continue reading

Skinny Puppy
There are a handful of things I’d change if I were to redo this strip.
- I’d rephrase what “intrigued” me in the caption atop the first panel; my sarcastic quotation marks on “texture” are easily mistaken for a misspelling of an actual Skinny Puppy song, “Testure”.
- I would reevaluate my appreciation for them, because these days I find myself turning to their music regularly, like a balm.

It has undone me more times than I care to relate here. Continue reading

Hole
The closest you can get to “a good Hole song” is the following. If there exists a female voice that science could prove is subconscious torture to heterosexual men, it would be Courtney Love’s. Continue reading

Radiohead
I later found out the reason behind Yorke’s eyes blinking out of sync and I really should’ve just kept my mouth shut. I doubt he gives a shit however.

Good Cop/Bad Cop (The Police)
Police- a subject of much discussion these days. Some claim to hate them. Society cannot function without them, but what does that say about society? And can you believe they used to be a band?
I admit the “white people ripping off reggae” jab was a bit harsh, but I never said I was fair. I certainly wasn’t when it came to depicting my hair and acne. Continue reading
